Odette is a womenswear label, designed, sourced, and hand made in Florence, Italy, established by Irene Zarrilli in 2010.
The philosophy of Odette is largely based in the cultural values of its home, Italy. Everything is done from passion, and selected with precision.
Our aim is to work in a direct relationship with local tailors and high quality Italian fabrics. There is immense importance placed on the selection of fabrics, and they are all personally picked by her from small textile business in the Florence area.
Irene, alongside two close collaborators, follow the fabrics through each phase of production: design, textiles, meeting with local tailors for prototype and the finishing details on the final garment.
Irene Zarrilli is the founder and designer of Odette and creator of the concept store Boutique Nadine. She graduated in philosophy and cultural studies. The relationship between clothes, people and culture led her to study her longtime passion: fashion design and styling. She opened her first shop, Boutique Nadine, at the age of 22. Boutique Nadine is a concept store based on small local designers and a carefully curated selection of vintage clothes and accessories. The passion for vintage, from the high quality fabrics to precise details, let Irene to create a small line of retro inspired hand made dresses in 2010. With years the line expanded into dresses, trousers, coats, and accessories and has become what Odette is today: a womenswear line aimed for women of all generations as our models are simple lines, classic cuts, and the highest quality in fabric and details.
